With full Democratic attendance and united opposition, Jordan could only afford to have lost three Republican votes. By at least one measure, Jordan would be the most conservative Speaker compared to the average House Republican in recent years. “I personally would like to see the inquiry happen (this) week,” the Georgia Republican told CNN.
